Driving Instructions from Boston

1. Take Mass Pike (I-90) West to Exit 9 (Sturbridge).
2. Take I-84 West into Connecticut.
3. In East Hartford stay on I-84 West to Exit 55 (CT Route 2 East - Norwich/New London).
4. Take the exit (from the left lane) and proceed on Route 2 East for about 7 miles.

5. Take Exit 7 (a left exit) off Route 2 East onto CT Route 17 South - (South Glastonbury/Portland).
6. Route 17 will change from a divided highway to a two lane road.
7. Follow Route 17 South about 3 miles to the first traffic signal where it rejoins Main Street at Buttonball Lane.
   Avoid the exits for New London Turnpike and Hubbard Street.
8. Follow Route 17 South/Main Street about 0.5 mile to the traffic signal with Chestnut Hill Road and Red Hill Drive.  (You would have turned right here to get to our former home).
9. Follow Route 17 South/Main Street about 0.5 mile to the traffic signal with Hopewell Road at the north end of  South Glastonbury Center.
10. Follow Route 17 South/Main Street through South Glastonbury Center.  At the traffic signal where CT Route 160 goes off to the right for the ferry, go straight ahead.
11. Pass South Tavern Restaurant on your left and make the first left onto South Mill Drive into South Mill Village.
12. Go up the steep hill and turning right at the third right for #90.  We are the first unit on the right.

Driving Instructions from NYC/NJ via I-95 and I-91

1. Take I-95 North (New England Thruway) to New Haven.
2. Get on I-91 North (left exit) in New Haven.
3. Take I-91 North to Wethersfield, Exit 25, for CT Route 3 North (Putnam Bridge).
4. Cross the CT River on Route 3 North into Glastonbury, but avoid the first exit for Main St.
5. Route 3 will end almost immediately. Take the right fork by onto CT Route 2 East (Norwich/New London).
6. Force yourself over to the left lane within the first 0.5 mi for Exit 7.
7. Continue as per final part of instructions from Boston, above.

Other Routes from NYC/NJ via Tappan Zee Bridge

1. Take the first exit off the Thruway for Cross Westchester Expressway East (I-287)
2. From I-287 choose one of the following: 

• Take I-684 North to Brewster NY and then I-84 East to East Hartford and use Exit 55 for
  CT Route 2 East and follow instructions above (long way), or
• Take the Hutchison River Parkway to the Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkway (CT Route 15 North) to
  Meriden, CT and get on I-91 North.  Then take I-91 North to Exit 25N and follow instructions
  above from Putnam Bridge (pleasant way), or
• Take I-95 North to New Haven at the end of I-287 and follow I-95/91 instructions above.
